    Two things come to mind right away. Make the building tall enough for a lift. Even if you don't put a lift in, at least you COULD. No shelves - cabinets. Shelves collect dirt and dust, cabinets do not.

    If you drill holes in the soffits, bees, wasps, etc will LOVE it. Cut a hole and use a push-in round vent. Or replace the aluminum that's there with perforated stuff. I do not know how to insulate between the rafters and avoid moisture problems. I'm sure there's a way. If you would like to...

    Garage heater problems!!

    You'll want the t-stat for sure once the garage is somewhat sealed up. Mine only runs about 50% in the really cold weather and that's keeping the garage at about 65 degrees when I'm working out there. Otherwise, I crank it down to 40 degrees if I think I'll be out there in the next day or two...

    Best part of my garage. $100 at a swap meet. Turned out it needed a gas valve, another $50. Piped in a gas line too. No problem heating the garage as warm as you could want in any weather. Not cheap, but warm!
