I like the idea of building my own drop base, I may use the foam until I get the the the car and hood out of paint shop. I have enough old breather and sheet metal to fab it the way I want it. Thanks..

I'm considering this air cleaner by edelbrock hoping to clear my hood? Has anybody used this type and how good of job does it do?
