Get a 93 Dakota starter for the 5.2 for headers. Get the terminal conversion kit here from the guy that sells it. Valiant one I think.....not sure. If you can't find it message me and I'll look for it. Much faster starter but you lose the laughing dolphin sound of an old mopar.

What does this level of heat do o the suspension and steering parts

Do you have to take the headers off the take the mini starter out. Or the regular starter. I haven't put mine on yet. The starter out of a newer Dakota I've heard works well.

The research I did shows they work with power steering. A mini starter is recommended

the flat mount needs the rubber piece. i used a mount that was close but it was slightly thicker. $100 plus shipping IF you dont like the price. shoot me an offer
