What a difference this intake makes. Car purrs like a kitten. I am thinking the Torker has been modified for decked heads as there is no warping on the surface that I can tell. Anybody need an alum ontake? $90 LOL

Is $90 too much to pay for this intake? Also it has a 1/2" intake from the water pump which is 3/4" how will this affect cooling? I was running a 340 Torker before and it sucked air horribly, what kind of performance can I expect going back to a stock manifold?

It's a little more involved than that, not only the clearence, but also an airgap of 1/2" for safety. Picked up a set of mid-seventys Cordoba manifolds for $40. The passenger side is ok, and the driver side looks doable if I get rid of the column shift and take town the surface 1/4". I'll keep...

How hard would it be to alter the firewall on the driver side? A little grind-grind, weld-weld to create a depeession in the firewall. That way I can use the HP manifolds. :dontknow:

BTW the driver side does trap the stock starter, I bought a set new last year. Sold them off. The fenderwells sound like a better bet.

Drivers side flange interferes with the firewall. Any other options?

67 Barracuda, .030,383. What other options do I have for exhaust besides Shoemakers? I'd like to see this car on the road before I pass on. 22 years is long enough.
