not sure what to think ??

if those missing headlights are feeding twin spools... i'm oddly okay with this. otherwise, that's gonna be a no from me dawg.

Will S/W gauges work with stock sending units?

100% agree. the further annoyance is amplified when you wind up having to use like three adapters to make the damn thing work. which just cheezes me to no end. it looks bobo, that's just more potential points of failure, and in my particular case there was just no room to operate in the space...

Will S/W gauges work with stock sending units?

that was the problem i ran into. the spec for the SW gauges was just different enough from autometer and universal that they either flat *** wouldn't work or the reading was inconsistent enough to give me pause. i'm sure there could be a work around but i just splashed the $30 for the SW temp...

Will S/W gauges work with stock sending units?

yeah, that's pretty much the game. i just went thru this whole hoopla with a temp & fuel gauge, thought i'd save a few bux and order up some "universal" units, and after a few rounds of dicking around with crap *** crap quality and rubegoldbergain fittings and tearing my hair out over how much...

Will S/W gauges work with stock sending units?

SW stuff works with their sending units. you can buy aftermarket/generic sending units but it's kind of a crap shoot as to the accuracy and quality. they 100% don't work with stock sending units-- at least the ones i tried.

    360 vs 383

i knew a girl from Tijeras once. she liked to steal gold wrist watches and $10 bills out of my wallet. Her and her cute blonde haired friend left me tied up to a motel bed outside of Wasco with a quart of gin, two 20's and a 5 and took off with my shoes and my 66 sport fury; leaving a note in...

    360 vs 383

you forgot the whole: my sisters boyfriends best friends cousin had a [blank] that was the fastest thing in our podunk tri country area. weren't nobody cruzin' the DQ that ever beat him-- not even them light in the loafers city boys, big block or small block! *spits* *takes a pull on a half...

lolz. of course! $200 plus the flim-flammer market book tax and dealing with them time pirates; a deal at twice the price!

    360 vs 383

i feel ya there. i just don't see them out in the wild all that often. and if i'm going thru the rigamarole of a roller, might as well go another that full step further and just go magnum. but that's just me. no argument on the availability of clapped out vans vs 383's EDIT: challenge...

    360 vs 383

i'll poist that roller cam'd 360's were in such a narrow window that it shouldn't be included unless you also include the magnum.

    360 vs 383

i'd say they're on very equal ground. the 383 is all OG and low-ish mileage. has a 70's holley 2bbl (prob off a 360!) and mopar electronic. that's it. still running (cracked) manifolds and a full dual two miles long back over the axle and kicked out the side with ginormous RV mufflers. i did...

    360 vs 383

i'm not gonna take the D300 to the strip, mainly because i'd have to remove the stakes and that's a gargantuan pain in the ***, and my back hurts just thinking about it. but for all intensive porpoises, the trucks are fairly evenly matched in equipment with the big one getting deeper gears but...

    360 vs 383

while my experience isn't precisely apples to apples, it's fairly close. i have a 70 D300 dually with a flat bed, 383 2bbl 727 and that thing will straight *** burn all 4 tires unloaded, set you back in your seat at a roll on from 20mph and doesn't break a sweat on the fwy at 65~70 (unloaded)...

Not mine 1967 commando 273 automatic with air fastback Barracuda (rough) but there.

in my travels, i recall seeing a very very original and complete "new car package" or, basically what was given to the new owner, like all the dealer key chain and mopar propaganda promo materials and other such bits n' bobs. amongst that stuff was a small package of wastebin bags that were...

Not mine 1967 commando 273 automatic with air fastback Barracuda (rough) but there.

i think it's a little waste bin. i want to say they were optional or a dealer kick in on some early 70's cars?

    Need mechanical work

do you frequently see old cars in their lot? are they actively being worked on and not just sitting for months at a time? is there mopars? do any of the mechanics own old cars, especially mopars? the suspension work might be a specialist type thing. a lot of shops won't touch that unless...

    Not Mine 1966 Formula S 4spd CA

i also think it's a little over priced, but not out of realm of possibility. it appears to be a fairly unmolested, rust free car and the interior isn't all blowed out. factory S 4spd cars with 8.75's don't show up often, let alone with their OG motors still intact, either. i don't see...

WIW... NOT MINE... 1937 Dodge Coupe

absolutely stunning. just needs a 318... all kidding aside, it's super hard to get comps on these because they don't come up often and the condition and builds are all over the place. i've been keeping an eye out for something in this age range for a client, so i've seen a few but it's well...

it's too bad that i'm in LA, i'd love to take this on. sounds like a fun project. but sounds like you've got it covered with @TrailBeast who is not only super close but also an amazing talent and great resource. you're in good hands there!

    Parts Cache

well... delivery changes everything! all kidding aside, if you're in it for the motors and transmissions and some of the high dollar stuff this makes it more of a deal on your side. i'd still try and get him off that number. scoop the whole encharito and then adios the stuff i wasn't...

    Parts Cache

i'll echo what a bunch of others thoughts here and say that if you're not in the parts selling biz or trying to make that your side hustle then pass on it. there's probably 20K in parts there, but is there any meat left on the bone at resale is the big question. motors are a pain in all nine...
