In my opinion i would put the vinyl top back , i always like them , you will not need as much prep, and your roof is in really good shape compared to others i seen on here .With the price of paint supplies now compared to a new top , not a whole lot of difference.The last top i bought was around...

J. P there is some nice originals on e bay .They are saying on a link here last week reproductions do not fit flush to the door , and leaving a gap .And not much difference in price, gotta watch that Chins stuff Mass Production.

If i was close i would make it like new, i would buff it for you .I have a proper buffer and use three steps of 3M , i now do alot of headlights they come like new .
