    Oh hell, now worries, wash it down good, when its clean it will dry in no time, put a fan on it over night if you have to, I water the floor down every time I spray, keeps dust down .

    Must thin your primer, test shoot a old peice of clean metal or paper . Paper is my test area.

    I single stage my under hood and engine bay, wet sanded and scuff pads, anywhere there was metal I primered it, the prep whip in a spray can you can get at lowes And taped of for paint, prep wipe it again then spay

    I have wet sanded enamel 15 days later, re-shoot it with white paint then clear it. But remember I am 64 and have not used these new paint they have now. Truck looks great for a rookie paint job :thumbsup:

    agree again, catch it soft and it will sand easier, but like you said (Leave it alone) I would save my money for any other upgrade :thumbsup:

    I would wet sand the orange peel out and scuff it all over, wipe down with Prep wipe , ask your paint dealer, then clear coat

    Not sure if the early Barracuda was ever a square body style, but the 67 and up looks non square to me. Just thinking out loud :popcorn:

    Shock bushings to a loose trunk key latch, I found an old zebco rod and real down in the back lower trunk area in a Dart I owned that drove me nuts till I started digging deep looking for my rattle.

    Yes what @earl a body said, use gray primer. Prep each area good and flat, after repairs are made, wet sand with wet/dry 400 grit, when you like water you see, prime it and walk away :thumbsup:

    Good question, I think I would use a plastic etching paint, or a prep wipe that is made to shoot your paint on. I have painted plastic bumpers back 20 years ago and they had a prep wipe and adaptive for your paint I believe.... I would wait for someone that has done this lately.

    I used a dodge truck cable, and brought it around to the passenger side from the middle dash area, I used the 66 latch that was on my 66 valiant

    UGH!! Trunk won't open

    I had this problem in my 66 , I used a mid size regular screw driver, a 2 1/2 fool long plastic water line (1 inch line, and duck taped the screw driver to it, removed the back seat and reached the lock with it, the screw driver fit in the notch on the latch and I turned it i,, walla it popped...
