Coolant in the oil - AGAIN!

I had this exact problem this summer, or a very similar one, although on a big block. I chased a water leak from roughly July on. First I was getting water droplets in the valve cover breathers. Thought it was suspicious. Then when adjusting the valves every week i noticed milk in the valve...

    Moroso Elec H2O pump

I wouldn't on a street car. Its hard to beat a good ol fan belt and factory pump for reliability and cooling too for that matter. Some of the billet electric pumps look cool and are fancy and all but i'm curious about their reliability over, say 20,000 miles.

    Radiators

I run all my accessories off of a fused switch panel. Basically the whole car is racecar wired, water pump, fuel pump, interior fans for when it is hot sitting in staging, and lights. I don't run a relay for the water pump because its on its own circuit. I do run a relay for the Barry Grant fuel...

    Radiators

I'm running a Mopar Performance aluminum pump, a Moroso pump drive and an aluminum fan attached directly to the water pump. No shroud at this time but will be soon to keep people from sticking their hands in the fan.

    Radiators

I don't know which one is theoretically better but I switched from a stock rad. to an aluminum cross flow and the car now runs much cooler. keep in mind I was using a 3 core (re-cored) 69 318 rad. in front of a big block drag racing. Normal temp with a stock rad. 200-220. normal temp with...

    Running Hot

I don't run a tstsat either. Since i put the new rad./ fan set-up in the car doesn't go over 190. With the old Chrysler rad. 210-220 was the norm after a couple of runs. Still like to stage at the same temp. every time though. Now if I could just do something about all this rain, i've been ready...

    Running Hot

My car likes to leave at 140 or 150 also. Gets a little tricky in the late rounds but a lot easier since I switched to a Summit aluminum radiator. I ditched my electric fans for a regular aluminum fan run off the electric water pump. A friend had this set-up in his car and it has worked well, I...

    Running Hot

Timing is a good place to look. Also is this the electric pump that moroso has been selling for years? If so you may want to try the overdrive pulley(or gear or whatever you want to call it) that they sell to go on the electric motor. Spins the pump a little faster.Just a thought
