    Was Talking to Wayne today from Brewer's. he told me the same thing you did, so either start letting off the go pedal or look for a regular 4 speed, love me OD for the street but would like to see what the car will do down the strip, Decisions, Decisions? Thanks just glad it isn't broke.

    Under normal driving conditions and low rpm it shifts fine, but under a hard launch it will not go into second until rpm 's comes down. checked the shifter and all is fine, had the rods out and tweaked them a bit.     4 speed OD with 3.91 gears

    72 440 Duster with around 525HP at the crank, 391 in it know but am changing to 410 this winter, I only use fourth on the main HWY, over 70 MPH, 2400RPM at 70. It lunches hard at the track but I only use 1,2,3. as 3rd is suppose to be the fourth in a Regular 833, love mine as it gets way more...

    Here is my set up. 440-4 speed with the od tranny, around 550 HP, Street use only, Oh yea i come on to it all the time, no problems ever, other than always looking over my shoulder for the poky.

    I Have A OD Behind My 550HP 440 And Works Like A Charm, No Track Time But Heavy Foot On The Street, 70 MPH On The HWY And Runs Around 2200 RPM. With 391 In The Rear. Best Of Both Worlds, I Love Mine.

    833 OD behind a 340?

    I Have One Behind My 440 Duster. Its Only A Street Car And Have Had No Problems At All. I Have 391 Gears And At 70MPH Its At 2200RPM. Real Nice On The HWY. And Also Great In The Streets. Don't Be Afraid, They Do Work.

    Its An 833OD Tranny. The 3 & 4 Lever Is Turned Upside Down For A Reason. I Have One In Mine. They Work Great For The Street And Great On The HWY, Do To Having An Overdrive Gear.

    I Have One Behind My 72/440/4 Speed Duster. Runs Great. I Paid Up North Here $200. Had To Rebuild It For Another $600. If Its A Good Running Tranny Then $300 Is Not That Bad. I Run 391,s And Get 14 Miles To A Gallon. It Revs At 2200 RPM At 60 MPH On The Highway. First And Second Are The Same As...
