Is the top of the dash blue? If so, I think a blue dash pad and steering wheel would improve the look.

Try using a heat gun.

Can you drill and tap it in place? It'd probably be a total pain in the ***, but possibly doable. Just raise or lower that part to where you can get a straight shot on it with a drill. Hell, if you mess it up, maybe a through bolt and nut on the backside would work.

If you can get get the broken piece out, I'd just cut the head off that bolt in the picture and use the washer along with a new bolt. Of course, you'd still want/need two thick paper gaskets and a small piece of rubber hose to mount the glass. Not the end of the world at all.

It may be the camera angle, but the gas pedal looks way low to me. It looks matted almost. Is that the way it is at rest?

I was asking how much of the bow channels did you trim prior to hanging the headliner in place? As in - how much of the bows did you leave exposed on the backside?

For those of you who have installed a bow-style headliner in one of these old Mopars, how much of the bow channel on the new headliner did you trim? In other words, how much of the bow do you leave hanging out before installing?

If you have a digital copy of the factory service manual, do a word search for "listing wires." It'll show the order.

If it's just rattle can primer, it should come off no problem with something relatively mild. Remember to post the results!

Is it only on the inside of the dash? Is the dash out of the car?

Rather than an acid etch, I'd use some type of adhesion promoter that's compatible with the topcoat you're using. Maybe scuff it with a red scotchbrite if you're worried about adhesion.

I'm refurbishing a set of bucket seat sliders and am just wondering what this "tag" is for. Each side has one and it's hooked on the cross wire that connects the slider lever pivot arms/latches. What are these for??

Hey Kern - I was just re-reading a bunch of headliner threads I have saved to psych myself up to do mine and have a question. Did that shiny insulation you used show through the headliner material after the installation?

Once the seal is in place, does the carpet butt up to it, with the sill plate over it all locking everything down?

Have any of you used body-colored tinted (or black) raptor liner on the trunk floor of your A-body (or maybe inner quarters in lieu of undercoating)?? I'm thinking it may be a decent alternative to traditional 2k paint and maybe more durable. Thoughts?

Can Procar seats be bolted to stock A-body seat sliders?

What SEM paint did you use? They make quite a few. Trim black, trim black ultra, color coat, hotrod black, etc.

I've used SEM trim black on the interior of a few A-bodies. It always turns out great. Don't let people on facebook make you think every part of your car has to be perfect or "by the book." Do you want to drive it, or spend the rest of your life perfecting every last part of the car?
