I run 255/60/15 on 15" weld draglites with 4.5 bs and is very close but centered. Can't get a finger between fenderlip on outside or spring on inside. This is on the 67 GTS with 8 3/4", Joe

better check to make sure front will take 225/70 without hitting fender
