    Rotor Hitting Caliper Bracket

Thanks everyone. It ended up being an issue with a brand new Raybestes rotor. One of my new rotors worked fine and the other rubbed on both the driver and passenger side. I ended machining the original rotor that was on the car and all is good now. I guess that makes sense sits all of these...

    Rotor Hitting Caliper Bracket

Hey everyone, I have a 71 duster with tubular upper control arms with the bigger ball joint to accept a disc brake spindle. I have a pin type caliper bracket and 73 duster rotors. The rotor is rubbing on the caliper bracket and the inner pad does not fit in between the rotor and caliper bracket...

    Front disc coversion problems

I have been in your position a few times. All of the above is great advise. Look for the simple things, double/triple check to make sure your calipers are on the correct side. I had the this same issue on a B body and it was because I had to switch the calipers from the front of the rotor to the...

    Problem with Prop Valve/Metering Block

I am having the same problem with my 71 Duster. I thought I just had air in the lines but I have bleed them and bleed them. If I pump the pedel once they are fine but if I let it sit then I have to hit the brake twice to get a good pedel. It is almost like I new a residual valve for the back...

    brakes giving me a headache!

I am having the same issue. I am going to use the vise grip on the rear line to see if that helps. I can't on the fron because they are Stainless. Has any one had issues with the adj prop holding air? Do I have to open it all the way when bleeding? The weird thing is I have no leaks. The fluid...

    Drum to disc question

I have an adjustable on mine and it was really easy to install. It just goes inline with read line and it has a knob on it that you turn for more rear or less. You can really dial in the brakes. I have had no issues with it so far.

    Drum to disc question

Yes you will have to buy lines from a 73, I bought mine from Jims auto parts. He has great prices. Stainless hard lines are kind of a waste. If you want a cool trick, take the regular steel lines and then take a scuffing pad and scuff up the brake lines, after you scuff them up spay some clear...

    Caliper Sliders

I found out they come with your calipers from Napa, I was going to rebuild a set but when I found out the I can get a rebuilt from Napa for $25 and it comes with the pins that is a good deal. Now I can complete my disc brake/4-4 1/5 bolt pattern project. Here is the interesting part of the...

    Caliper Sliders

Hello all, I am wondering if any of you know where you can get the caliper sliders for the pin type caliper. It is the last thing I need for my front disc conversion. I thought I saw someone post a mp part number, I can't seem to find it and it wasn't clear whether they were talking about Mopar...
