    63 valiant bumper question

oh by the way, i found this out because my wagon bumper was pretty trashed, so when i found a replacement bumper, i grabbed the brackets and all. (off a 64 valiant 2 door). when i went to swap bumpers, the 2 door brackets were a different shape and placed the bumper too high, so i just put the...

    63 valiant bumper question

the bumpers are the same from 63 to 65 valiants (all models). with that said. the wagons have different bumper brackets than the non-wagon valiants. so you can use a bumper off any valiant, but dont throw out your brackets. hope that helps.

    considering swapping my \6\ for a \8/

if you run a big block, the distributor wont be a problem, but many other things will. or you can just build a nice running slant. you can get nice rods and pistons, keep your forged crank thats in it. put some money into the head, big valves and raised compression. 4 brrl carb and headers.......

    Goodmark floor pans are junk

im sure amd is great, but they dont do floor pans for early a's. and this is pertaining to early a's. on my 63 valiant i used auto body specialties, and they pretty much fell into place when i trimmed out the old pans. i was very happy with them.

    63-66 Valiants

oh i forgot to mention. i love the 63's, but if you are going to run a smallblock, you need to modify the firewall a bit to get clearance for the distributor. it hits where the bulge in the firewall is for the windshield wiper motor. just a heads up.

    64 Dart brake conversion

dont forget 73-76 valiants and scamps. well make sure they are v8's. my 75 scamp had the disc brakes, but it had a big bolt pattern 7 1/4 instead of the 8 1/4.

    Tranny cooler lines
