Somebody have a /6 in at Maurer's Performance prepping for a turbo build?

Dennis does great work. Since I've gotten my /6 running I've over boosted my engine to 20+ PSI which should have put north of 500+ ft lbs of torque down to the wheels. The head gasket popped but the bottom end didn't even care. Spins like a top still.

Quick update, the drive train is all built up and the guys at SS/AFX installed the new parts and did a bunch of suspension and fuel system upgrades to support my future boost! Excited to get going on the turbo system build.

That's a good point. Maybe I'll leave good enough alone with the stock bolts.

I'll shoot you an IM once I know when my engine is going to be done. It looks like Maurer is doing a great job on the /6. Even though it's been at his shop for months now the vast majority of that time has been him waiting for me to bring him rods and pistons. I'll post the build details when...

You know anyone on your side of town that would want to do the install and freshen up the k-member while we're at it? I've got tons of parts piling up and not enough time.

Yes, that is my /6 he's got down there. It's been down there for months now. I can tell you all about it. Glad I saw this post - I was searching the SW forum to try and find a shop/mechanic to swap the /6 into my engine. My garage isn't going to be ready for that this year.

Running 273 w/ Tranny for Next to Nothing

Yeah, it still cracks me up! Every now and then someone doesn't get it and that makes it just a bit more funny. If you're going to be in AZ next month you should come take this 273 off my hands :D I'm trying to rip this thing out before Christmas, anyone want to take it home?

Running 273 w/ Tranny for Next to Nothing

Hey All, I'm looking to get rid of my factory '66 273 w/ a good 904. It could use some fresh seals and gaskets but runs great or you can just nab the forged crank. If you pull it out it's yours. Only parts I'm keeping are the distributor and coil. Let me know if you're interested.

    Trade a 273 for a 225

Right, it always works out that way. When I was looking for a rear end I would have loved to live near Indiana or Ohio!

    Trade a 273 for a 225

Hey All, I'm trying to find a complete 225 to swap in for my 273. The 273 is in fine shape but I'm putting together a boosted 225 setup. Anyone know of 225 w/ a 904 for sale - rebuildable is fine? I'm thinking I need the k-member as well to make life easier. I'm running this in a '66 Dart...

    Phoenix Area Mopar Shops?

Yeah DVAP seems like a place that would charge too much, plus they didn't have a single part I requested. I'm scouting craigslist and ebay (ebay gets pricy too, especially when your shipping a rear end) If anyone needs to sell an 8 3/4 a-body sg rear end in the Southwest, I'm your buyer ;)...

    Phoenix Area Mopar Shops?

Anyone have a list of reliable Mopar shops/yards in the Phoenix metro, I'm in the East Valley? I'm having trouble finding a 8 3/4 suregrip for my a-body and I'm looking for some local mopar hubs. Thanks!
