    SBP disc brake conversion

No problem, I've been putting together parts for the same setup over the last few weeks.

    SBP disc brake conversion

Get the ones listed for the 11" brakes. They are very similar to the ones for 10" drums and may even work the same but the width is different: 10" Drum - Shaft Size=1.73", Housing Bore=2.336, Outer Diameter=2.34, Width=0.47in 11" Disc - Shaft Size=1.73", Housing Bore=2.336, Outer...

    SBP disc brake conversion

10" or 11" will work for 66-72 cars with SBP - I don't know either if it's drum or disc size (did they offer the 11" HD drum pre-73?). Anyhow, the bearings you want are considered A2 (front outter) and A6 (front inner) these will fit SBP spindles, also get the front inner seals, again for the...

    Hi-Po KH Brake Pads

Anyone have expericence with a nice ceramic or semi-metalic pad for KH calipers? I've used axxis and hawk in the past and been happy. I found that hawk and ebc make D11 pads for the KH but they start at over $100 - too much for me unless they are truely amazing. Power stop makes some for $40 but...

    Kelsey Hayes caliper pistons

Is that a known fact about the stainless pistons correcting the sticking issue? I assumed it would and wanted to rebuild mine with stainless pistons for that reason.

    Kelsey Hayes caliper pistons

Only real problem I've read about are sticky pistons. The other issues like dragging pads or locking up the rear drums are related to master cylinder size and proportioning valve. If you rebuild the calipers, get a 1 1/32 new master cylinder (for manual brakes) and a prop valve for the rear...

    Cleaning up a Proportional Valve

Is this an aftermarket kit for switching from front drums to discs? Are those lines stainless? Nice cleanup lgjhn!

Good resources. Anyone know where to get stainless steel pistons? And is it difficult to hone the bores? Should this be done by a professional?

    10" Backing Plate Compatibility

I'm guessing the old plates, orignally from my '66 Dart, were specific to the smaller 10 x 1.75 drums. The new ones are from a newer axle with the wider drums. I installed my 10 x 1.75 brakes on the new backing plates today with no issues. So, I guess it doesn't matter.

    10" Backing Plate Compatibility

My factory drums were 10 x 1.75 and I plan to use the guts with new shoes but I'm using the backing plates from an 8 3/4 housing because they are OEM with 5-bolt holes to mate to the 8 3/4 housing I've installed. My question is will my 10 x 1.75 parts bolt up to this backing plate, it's...

'66 Dart Axle Hose Part Number

Update: Found it in two minutes at NAPA but ended up ordering one from Fine Lines in braided stainless for $37.

'66 Dart Axle Hose Part Number

I need a part number for the rear axle brake hose for a 1966 Dart with an 8 ¾ housing. This is the hose that runs from the hardline on the body to the T-splitter on the axle housing. Does anyone have one or know where I can order one online? Ideally, I want this part is braided stainless but I...
