Found one local

Putting together a 64 barracuda with 273/2bbl. Trans is cable type and I need the bolt that holds the park part cable to the tranny. It's tapered and is a special type for the application. I've never seen it or have a picture of it....BUT...I need that part. Any help is appreciated and Thanks...

should be fine for cruising and you're still going to spin them off the line...

when I feel they are adjusted right(linkage) they always shift into 2nd at 15 to 20 and 3rd by 30. It works well and if I want longer shift,I manually shift it. I do have a shift kit also and in drive it shifts early and fast but very positive. No biggie to me.

I'm confused as type F transmission fluid in my ps pump.....since the 60's....

high temp silicone I used..no gasket

for street it's fine...even at the occasional track run it should be fine

run it until warm, check the dipstick in neutral/running....dipstick has levels marked...use proper fluid..not new stuff

I ran 410's with 29 inch tires and it was great...30's are cool

alot of cars don't have consoles.....what's weird about that?? My 67 R/T....69 Bee and My current Demon....all 4 speeds...no console

they are My preference with a short tire..26 inch but with a 28/29 I run 391's/410's even 430's..My 72 Demon has 355's with 26 inch tires and it's great for street and highway...not a track combo though

with 355's and 26 inch tall tires on My 66 coronet...I turned 3000 at 65......with 28 inch tall tires on My Bee...I turn 2700 at 65.... go with the 355's and experiment with tire height...easier than rearend swap..26 inch on My current Demon is obviously the same as coronet...Super gears as far...

turn the wheel 1 revolution and count the revolutions of the driveshaft...on a posi it(driveshaft) will turn about 3 and a quarter times for a 323

axels alone are 0ver 200 plus bearings..studs,seals,400 for a posi, couple hundred for gears and a 150 to 200 for a housing...plus drums/brakes/wheel cylinders...575 is way too low

I have a 323 suregrip in an A body rearend..would separate..also a 430 suregrip in a 489 case by itself...the 323's are in a 741 [email protected] if interested

suregrip was an option and I have no idea what cars would/could of come with it standard..even R/T's, gtx,had one wheel peel unless suregrip was ordered.

had 355's in My GTX with 26 inch tires...was nice had 410's in My Bee with 29 inch tires...ran on the highway like 355's Have 323's in My demon with 26 inch tires and they do well just need a little coaxing off the line. Great on gas
