    Looking at a 1965 Dart 270 Convertible - Questions

Good looking car, take a close look at the clutch pedal, looks bent to the left, look for play and cracking, next, gas pedal is not from 65 looks like later 60-70s, bring a flashlight, and you want to get under it to inspect for rust, hope it's clean and works for you to enjoy.

    1967 vent/wing window adjustment.

Here's pics of 67 vent frame(pass side). I believe 67 is unique with the bottom rod/adjusting bolt with large uclip. I believe there is an area on lower inner door structure that clip slides onto. In the shitty pic of my door, you can see the long screw, it's chrome with head painted black. The...

I think the 75-78 Fury 4-door 440 is one of the coolest cop cars ever. Same weight and nearly the same HP as my Hemi Challenger

The bed is full of holes. The floors are gone and the rear body crossmembers are rotted out causing the fuel tank to fall out. The bottom 8 inches of the quarters is just a layer of bondo. Sad actually because it runs good on a gas can and has less than 100 thou miles.

    1972 Dodge Colt

Long Read. Waiting for the machine shop and the head work. I worked on the rocker arms today doing a bunch of checking. Here is what I found/decided. Started with a stock rocker shaft and arms. Stock shaft has a ground flat on the front end, top. This places the small oiling holes on the bottom...

Which thermostat to go with 185/175 temp sensor?

You're looking to set this up backwards. You don't size a thermostat to go with whatever switch you have, you buy the switch based on what thermostat you use. Id never run a 160 stat in anything

    Hiflow Waterpumps

I've used a couple of flow Kooler ones and so far so good. I made the mistake of replacing the original 8 vane wp on my 78 318 with a 6 cane version and right away I noticed that my engine was running noticeably hotter as soon as I bolted the 6 vane version on and filled it up. I then re...

(Sorta) Super Six Build Just Getting Started

I've heard that bouchillon has a setup much like the 90s Cherokees and Durangos used, but what my son got from them sure doesn't look anything like those. Ice also heard of people getting kickdown cables from those vehicles in the junkyard and doing well with those. That may be another option

Dash Pad Question for 75 Duster

I watched a show that featured how they do it. They strip it down 100% then new foam completely - shave the foam to fit the contour gauges they made then vacuum the new vinyl. The car show I saw did a firebird dash.

(Sorta) Super Six Build Just Getting Started

My son has bought 2 bouchillon setups, and they look like some hilljack cobbled them up with a couple of fist sized rocks in the dirt. Very cobbled appearing. I have the lokar on hand, so I'll try them out before I spend any more. If I have trouble with those then I might try something else.

On the fender tag, there should be a 20 under letters AB and should also be a 3 under the letter D for 4 speed.

$300 for a cable and a few plated brackets is pretty spicy ️ Just saw that several Jeep CJ guys are using a $20 universal 904 kickdown cable from Amazon with this same carb/ trans setup.. Probably just a Chinese copy of the Lokar cable, but at least I won’t feel bad throwing that in the bin...
