    Best front suspension rebuild parts?

Hi All, I'm looking for quality: Upper ball joints. Are the Moog K704's any good? Upper control arm bushings Moog K7103 Offset Bushings? or the Moog K408's? Lower control arm bushings? (I think I'm going to buy the Proforged POF-115-10015 bushings from Summit) I'm putting PST 1.03 Torsion...

    Are 340’s rare

Fair enough, I have never priced 340 stuff. I would rather build a $2000 392, than a $1000 340 First choice? A 360 roller block stroked to 408, over ANY equivalent build 340. (That statement does NOT include a 416, that's not a 340 anymore)

Ship hit bridge, bridge crashes into water

My question would be, how is someone able to hack into the system if it's not connected to the outside world, like the person said in the video? For the hackers to have access to the system they need to have a data path on and off the ship. The only other way would be for someone to upload a...

    1967 vent/wing window adjustment.

You may wanna loosen rear track to get more movement. You will have to move vent frame around window up get best alignment with roof and A pillar weather strip. I monkeyed with mine a few hours found tightening screw in upper door that squeezes vent frame helped to hold it once I thought I had...

    1960 Valiant Restore: advice welcomed.

True that. So, I called this fellow from Performance Automotive Group, other side of town, on the advice of a vintage car club. Though the gas gauge didn't work, figured I had plenty of gas to get over there. Three miles out she spluttered to a stop and I called for a tow and sat reflecting on...

    Are 340’s rare

$227 difference between Egge L2222 for 273 and KB243's for 340. Everything else should be close to the same. (rings, bearings, and gaskets) Machine work is the same. Your 273 might cost less up front. 273's are cheap to free. 340's are $200-$1000 or more.

Evening: Finally pulled the transmission and transfer case from the chassis. And stripped everything but the gas tank straps, them bolts are about to get the smoke wrench tomorrow. But went ahead and degreased, wire brushed, pressure washed, twice, the frame. It’s ready for the rust treatment...

    Are 340’s rare

A 340 short block, equivalently built, would probably be a $500-1000 premium compared to a 318 or 360 based engine. The $2k is overblown. Ironically a 273 probably would cost more because of the specialty pistons required.

    1969 Valiant Diary

Hey Swifster, here's a pic of the finished 1968 Valiant "400" our Inland Mopars Car Club built as our charity benefit project car some years ago. It started as an Arizona car that was pretty rough when purchased but was able to be driven back to SoCal. We called the finished car a "Valiant...

    Need guidance, timing

I think the distributor needs to be rotated one tooth but not sure. That's where I was going to go. You are probably off one tooth, maybe more. You should be able to have tons of adjustment in both directions. Distributor rotation is clockwise looking from above so go one tooth at a time...
