    Offset rocker arm question

I think Jesel lists rocker lengths on their web page. I’d look there. If they are the same length and if .600 is enough offset I don’t know why they wouldn’t work.

Plastic/vinyl trim dressing that actually last doesn't streak??

For black trim? If so, I can`t remember the name at the moment but I used a restore or renew product I bought on Amazon ( I think ) and it held up for a long time. It was some years back and I haven`t needed it on my new truck so I forgot the name. Someone here probably would know.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have several caught in the traps now (live buzzing around). The bees in there attract them and once they enter they can not get out.

    Edelbrock, TrickFlow rocker question

I had a Comp roller lifter tie bar break on a set of roller lifters that had less than 50 runs on them. Man talking about destroying a great running engine. Stock crank Edelbrock headed engine ran four 6.54 passes at 3200 pounds.

    66 Dart/74 la 318 starter issue

Turns out it was any one of a number of things, or a combination. A previous owner spliced two wires going into the bulkhead connector, badly, (I’m not sure why they’re spliced in the first place), so that was a tenuous connection, the wire from the solenoid to the starter showed continuity, but...

I just took these. Carpenter bee traps. I’ve had them up for several years and they work excellent I empty them several times they’re full of bees. I have found nothing better.

    More nonsense from NHRA Tech

Reminds me of the time years ago when my neighbor installed chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner and asked me, "what can I do to make my car faster?".

    Edelbrock, TrickFlow rocker question

Could be the post I did last season when I had a HS rocker break on consecutive weekends, first was #3 exhaust, next week #4 exhaust broke. No apparent cause and Randy at HS told me that it was most likely due to them reaching the end of their service life. Had a friend who's a metallurgist do...

    Offset rocker arm question

I guess I hadn't considered the actual length requirements because I don't have access to the parts. I can maybe look into that part of it. The ratios are 1.6 intake and 1.7 exhaust but that's just relative to the geometry of the specific rocker, not linear distances. Didn't want to bother...

    My 340 getting 6 mpg

No I have not. But the motor is running super strong no signs of bad cylinder pressure. My compression checker is an old napa one my dad gave me. I need new one ro check my compression. Will update on that

    273 commando Build

Thought I'd bring this up for concerns .. look at the block deck and you can see it has rough cut and not perfectly flat. could this be why it keeps blowing head gaskets? the other block I'm thinking about using has a smooth flat deck surface .

    Offset rocker arm question

IIRC the length is wrong. Also it takes about all the offset you can get. If it’s a .700 offset (I forget if that’s exactly what it is) you probably won’t get enough clearance with a .600 offset. Unless you use an undersized pushrod.

    Tips for the track?

Ok good to know. I’m guessing by now I’m probably 300ish hp. Never any wheel hop in any street action. Not sure if that will be changing on a prepped track. We will see.
