I just flipped the Slnat 6 I have on my engine stand and am going to be attaching the new water pump to the block. Beofre i start, do I have to worry about sealing any of the bolts that hold the water pump in place? It looks like some of them may go into the water channel of the block????????

Is there a way to eliminate the use of the fan blade on a slant 6 and use the electric type fans for cooling the engine? I know when some people do their mods, they get rid of the fan blade assy. on bigger block motors, but not sure if the same could be done for the slant 6. What would be...
