Just picked up a 30K mile 1/10/73 440 w forged crank and 346 heads. Runs great, but want to bump the compression up and port the heads mabe.... My 1st big block, so Im not sure what would be a good combo to make this thing go like hell. Thanks for any help.

I want to build a stroker but am confused on witch block to use. I have a 71 360 or a 97 360 Mag. block to start with. Witch is the best foundation? I was thinking the 97 because it is a roller motor to begin with. Am i thinking right or wrong? Is one block stronger than the other? Any input...
