Didn't do much today but I have told myself I need to do one thing a day.
here's a "what if" for you
what is all you had coming thru the firewall for steering is a 3/4" steering shaft?....and if the firewall hole was actually a bearing support? (like a street rod)

I could weld that piece back in I guess. I would seriously need to shorten up that column since a $400 column isn't in the budget currently.

Nope. Kinda free styling with it. I seem to do my best work off the top of my head sometimes. That and as evidenced by my other drawings I can't draw for she!t.
I am drawing a bit of inspiration from the 200 and the charger dash I have. I tried messing with the other dashboards I had but couldn't get it to look right in the car. Imagine a tablet in the top portion of the dash and a gauge cluster below it. Then a storage pocket under that with the stock shifter surround out of the 200 with a leather wrapped shifter handle.

I'm sure it will be cool. One idea I've thought of is a niche between the seats where a stereo remote fits snug and in easy reach. Like a built in keypad.

Won't need a remote. I'm going to run the whole car off my tablet and my phone. My tablet can store hours a music and has a built in touchscreen with navigation and doesn't take up nearly the room of a traditional stereo plus I have the advantage of being able to take the whole entertainment center with me when I get out of the car and take the temptation away from the guy wanting to break into my car for my thousand dollar head unit. I'm also going to incorperate the cars ignition into my phone via Bluetooth so the only person able to start my car will be the person with the enable app on their phone.

I just realized something. Outside of chopping the roof and doing the front wheel house uppers I'm done with my body modifications. I'm finally finished altering the body and I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave the chop up to a professional.
