I've got a Hurst Super Shifter III in my car. Shifts great. Bought it years ago...not sure if they're still available.

The Super Shifter 3 is the best one there is IMO. They are not available for anything anymore. The shifters are all the same, so if you find one for a chebbie or phord at a good price, snag it. Linkage is easy to make. I got one for my car a while back. I snagged on the cheap.

Hey Strokerscamp!
Can you make a Supershifter work with a console? I'd LOVE to have one!

I'm pretty sure you can. Hurst Comp Plus shifters came stock in Mopars and the mechanism is about the same as the Super Shifter in terms of size so I would think so. The only possible thing to work around would be the reverse lock out lever if so equipped, but that wouldn't be bad.

Super Shifter III.4 1/2" throws and spring loaded 2nd to 3rd shift.Set up right you can shift as good as Ronnie Sox.Also has stop bolts so you don't overshift and break the synchro blocks.

If it is for drag racing than you want the Hurst inline shifter, less chance of missing a shift when your in the heat of things.
