from what I was told when I tried to get plates...send in pics of your car and they now look them over...well I know my car is not Stock...and the Hobbiest green and yellow is way to ugly for my car lol I'm sure just wheels and tires they aren going to make a peep on...but you and I know cars with stroker motors or big blocks built...headers..NOS...blowers...pro chargers...roll bars...street slicks...4 liked rears and are raced......these are far from staock and still carry the collector tag...my opion..wrong....it may be a COLLECTOR CAR...but its not STOCK anymore...they should run the Hobbiest tag...same price...will be interesting what the state does when you get pulled over by our state tropers in blue and see what they say.......but me..I stay with the personal MOPAR plate on my car...one of coarse not the state two they give ya

Since when does the state require pics for collector cars? Back when I was getting plates the only requirement for being considered stock for collector plates was you couldn't have any option on your vehicle that, that year didn't come with production wise. For example my Dart sport stock had slant 6 but I swapped it out for a 360. I called them up and asked them before I got my plates if this would disqualify me from being stock and it was ok since 360's were an option for my year. They could have cared less about the fact the engine was no were close to stock performance wise. I know lots of guys running collector plates on cars that I would not even consider anywhere close to stock. From my experience they make a big deal out of the whole process but in the end as long as they get there money they don't seem to care.

I try to avoid. The weather always sucks and its a always packed and cramped and if you don't get there early you end walking forever to get there.

Not going to Jefferson
James, Man I love your car - the color, wheels/tires, and stance are sweet! Imagine it is a little cool to drive right now - LOL!
What size tires and wheels (width & backspacing) do you have on it? They have exactly the look I am after for my Charger.

The tires are 275/60/15 on Cragar 15" x 10" with 6" backspace. I do not have a "A" body rearend. I think its from a "B" body, much wider. The tires set about a 1/2" off the spring which should be ok. The fronts are 205/60/15 on Cragar 6" x 15" with 3" backspace. I wish I would have gone with a little taller tire on the front. All tires are BF Goodrich T/A

James are you sure it's a B body rear end? I ask cause you're running the same wheel offset as my 83 Fox Mustang - I would like to duplicate your setup on my 71 Demon cause I can get Mustang offset wheels on the cheap side..

Wait, Dustpan. Is that Scholskys Deli? I know they also have something going on Tuesdays.
Better introduce myself. Muad, live in the Falls.
And this is a very old picture of my car.
and this is the stage it's in currently.
you may notice I'm also running one plate as well. I'm doing that on my caprice too. Actually had a Waukesha county sheriff follow me for about a mile at 10 pm for what I'm assuming is not running one on the front.

Last August, I was at the Karls car show and I saw an orange 72 demon there. Does anyone know who owns it?
Gah, schlosky's is on Thursday, not Tuesday.

Ah, ok I know where that is. It's right across the street from the Trysting place where my bro used to have AOK rehersals. Aldo's is right by the Walgreens there right? I've only driven through G-town once so I don't really know that area.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you go to the dyno? Borchardts? How are they if so?
