Fuse Box Questions

I have my gauge cluster out for replacement and have a couple of questions about the fuse box.

First: Is there enough wiring to pull it down from the dash after removing the mounting screw? Or, Should I deal with any issues with the dash apart? I needs some contacts cleaned and I'd like to tap off a keyed male tab in there and I don't really want to leave the dash open on the street in front of my house.

Second: The first fuse closest to the steering column (labeled acc) does not have both of the fuse holder tabs. Is this wrong? Or, is this the way it should be?

Thanks for the help

Conor

Hey Conor. I have one answer for you, I just looked on my 70 Dart fuse block, and the one labeled "acc" also only has one fuse holder tabs...

IIRC, there is very little extra length of wiring that will allow you to pull the fuse box down, I don't think much at all...You will have to check..

Thanks for looking. I think I will slap my old gauge face on for tonight and do it right tomorrow in the daylight.

Have a great night
