It's Alive

Well after months of work...the moment of truth. I don't know about other folks, but I get really anxious during that first attempt to fire her up after pulling things apart and putting it back together. Didn't do any major work, but I was still jacked when she fired right up.

video

Cleaned up some of the F'd up wiring
Replaced the steering gear box
Rebuilt the coupler
Pulled the Headers and hit w/POR-15.
Pulled & Cleaned up the starter and replace the toasted wiring with a new Mopar piece
Replaced the Oil pan and Pick-up tube
plus a bunch of misc stuff....

My daughters and I are happy to have a few big to-do's off our list.

Pat

Thanks fellas...Yes, it does feel great. I was concerned, especially with the wiring (which still need slot's of work ) I let out a BIG sigh of relief when that baby fired up!

Be well,
Pat

Hey Divenut,
You going to the Mopar event at Greatlakes Dragaway on the 28th and
29th of this month? I'm going to try and go. Not sure if I'm taking my car or not though.

Yep that's a real anxious moment on the first turn of the key.
You did it though, and she sounds and looks good.
Watch out for those Daughters, cus they are SO going to try to TO on that car.

Hey 70408dart, unfortunately I can't make it. My folks are coming in from Michigan for a visit. Post up some picks if you make it so I can see what I'm missing lol.

Thanks. Nothing fancy, old set of Hooker Comps, 2 1/2 pipes into a set of Flowmasters.
