wow, its been about 10 years since i pulled this........i think it was a 73 dart but my memory is not what it used to be.

That sounds about right year-wise. IIRC factory cruise was availalble for A Bodies starting 73. I pulled one from a 73 a few years ago when I was pulling the disc brake spindles.
