i need an oil pan to put a 360 in my 69 valiant,was wondering if there is another pan other than a A body 360 oil pan that would fit...and is the pick up tube the same as 318/340?? thanks.

I assume you are looking for a center sump pan. If so you will need a pan from a car. Truck pans won't clear steering. I think the pick from a small block with a center sump should work.

you are correct, he needs a 360 car (center sump ) pan
as far as the pick up tube, go to parts store order one for 74 Duster 360 or any other car with a 360
I know NOTHING about the magnum motors, so if its a 360 mag. you need to research further

ive seen them around 50 bucks or so, new

check with your local dealer. i bought a pan,pick up and dipstick from the dealer for like $80. was a MP part.

your lucky , the dealer here doesnt know anything about old car parts
you need to know the part numbers and be 2 or 3 steps ahead of them,,
there used to be a guy at at our dealership that would just hand me the book and let me look up parts myself, sad to say he's gone,(that was also pre-internet days)
I just called the dealer and this turns out to be no longer the case. I found the no. in my downloaded 2009 copy of MP, dealer said it's "no longer available." His new catalogue does not even show center sump car 360 pans. No. I had in the '09 Cat. was P5249059
If you have better info, I'd love to hear it.

Are 340 and 360 pans interchangable?
No...the 318/340 use the same pan..
360 pan is different because of the rear pan seal is smaller.
