Heres a few pics of my 71' duster I aquired last may and how far I'v come so far. I did all the work myself, including installing new quarters, trunk extensions, one floor pan, and both inner fender aprons. The car was then mounted on my rotisserry, and sandblasted under side, and epoxy primed and painted body color. I completed the finishing work through the winter and painted the car 4 weeks ago. I just put the rear end back in (4:30 gears), and superstock springs. The front suspension was completely rebuilt with poly bushings , new ball joints tie rod ends and new wheel bearings, and rebuilt 4 piston caliper kelsey hays disk brakes. I installed the dash yesterday and the steering colmun, and heater box. I hope to drop in my fresh rebuilt 340 (with some internal mods and X heads, and gear drive setup) next week. then the 4 speed will go in after that. This summer I want to get a new vynal top put on, and then do the rest of the interior. Just thought you guys would like to see my progress.

yowsa....very nice ...my all-time favorite year/color combo

Ok, here's where I am as of today, drive train is all back in and running, and suspension is done, blead all the brakes today, and went to order tires, for my rally rims, I'll get drag radials for the centerlines later on. starting to work on the headliner and vynal top, I also need to install an exhaust system, but open headers sound awsome. This winter I'll complete the interior.

I think you have a little piece of heaven there, nice everything and I really really like the duster. Cant wait to see some more.

You DO KNOW that the headliner goes on the INSIDE, right? ;)

J/K Man...

That is one sweet Duster you have there. I'm still trying to convince SWMBO I need a rotisery myself :D

Keep the pix coming...and please do inclulde some of the before shots as well.

wow, thanks for all the nice comments everyone. Thats the vynal roof lying on top of the roof, not the headliner. LOL! I'll try and get some superbird , and lil red exp. pictures for ya soon. The roterseary made the resto so mush easier, as well as the lift.

Nice work. Curious yellow by any chance? If so you may be interested in my ongoing resto project as well. Keep up the good work :-).

ok guys heres some more pics of it last spring shortly after I got this duster, and a few of the metal work, and rotessery work.
