Very cool, where did you get the trunk extensions and lower quarters? Are they Valiant parts or for somthing else?

Always nice to see another Valiant project, especially another 69. And I remember when you mentioned one to other car guys, even Mopar guys, and they'd look at you funny and go "huh"?
Now they are everywhere... and I couldn't be happier.
Good luck on your project.. keep us informed on the progress... some of us need isnpiration..

Vitamin c They don't make anything for valiant. I got the trunk extension and lower quarter patch from Classic Industires both are AMD parts,70-76 A-body trunk extension# MM1424 and quarter patch panel 72-76 A-body #MM1459 Both worked great.

You are welcome. Whole system is 1 3/4 TTi headers TTi 3 inch exhaust with H pipe. Very nice stuff. Used thrush fully welded mufflers. The body parts I used work as long as you don't have to go above the body line.

Wow, nice build. I'm sure that Valiant with a 383 should roll nicely!

Looks pretty nice for a bucket-at least you only had to patch one and replace one panel...I still have a whole quarter, trunk floors, door and fender to patch...I hate rust

Oh! I probably didn't read close enough to see the part about the spare tire well. I probably should've replaced my fuel lines, but they all checked serviceable (no rust, holes, kinks, dents, feeds clean, etc).
I'll probably call safelite to change my windshield or take it to the local glass place...quoted at $350 to replace the glass and gasket...yikes.
I know how ya feel though-just keep pluggin' away and posting pictures, that'll be one sweet little ride...with a big block!

Thanks txstang , had a boat tank in trunk when I got it aluminum tubing wired under car. Not pretty. Brake lines were rusted. Had like B body headers on it somebody tried to make them work by using a torch had pin holes all over. Had a motorhome shifter with a ten foot cable. New heater core, rebuilt wipers and LOL. Yup just keep plugin away. Lol

Thanks Dave, work in progress on and off for 3 yrs. Now. But every little thing you do is one less thing that you have to do. Don't. Have my own garage so it's a little slow going.

Mines in the same condition that you started with. I picked up some extra quarters to replace my lowers and trunk extensions. Thanks for some great picks, now I know what to look forward to.

Hey dennday67 thanks for asking. Got the right windshield gasket and installed the used windshield I had. Also primed the whole car gloss black. Got four new bfgs all the way around. Fronts are 225-60-15 backs are 255-60-15 on the 15&7 cop wheels and poverty caps. My computer is down so all I have is my phone don't know how to load pics from it. Took it for a ride last week go good some nice, nice and loud with the 3 inch pipes. Sounds good though. Got some used fenders a couple weeks ago at maplegrove race track. Need work, price was right. Just ordered a hemi scoop for it on Saturday. That's about it for now. Thanks for looking, Dave
