Blown Hemi Valiant from Oz .
Hey all . I've been lurking around here for a while and just joined up recently . Im located in Brisbane , Australia . My project is a 1970 VG Valiant coupe . It's the same body as your '67 Dart . As you can see from the pics below I am stuffing an 8/71 blown 354 Hemi into the engine bay .

354 Hemi with 8/71 Blower Shop blower , Comp blower Cam , Ross pistons , 2 x Holley 950 blower carbs etc . All new and have done an initial run in on my stand .

Test fitting .

Nice new big front brakes to stop the beast !

Steering rack from a local GM car adapted to fit .

Big tires tucked in .

Dakota Digital 6 gauge dash fitted . I had to cut and extend the original bezel and cut the opening in the dash larger to fit . Lots of work but it looks really good and fits the size of the dash perfectly .

Nightmare to come !
I will be putting in an all new black interior , and the car will be painted sublime with black trunk stripe and hood . I will try to keep everyone posted on my progress . If anyone has any suggestions to improve what I'm doing , I'd love to hear . Rob .

Hey Snowcrow . It is right hand drive , not goofy to me but maybe if one of you guys got in for a drive might be weird ! I hope to have some more engine bay pics by the end of the week . I have been modifying the rear sump oil pan , turning it into a front sump too clear the 'K' frame . It is just sitting on the steering rack right now , so will clearance around that a little and should be looking good . It's beginning to look very strange with all the angles cut into it , but as long as it holds oil I dont care what shape it is !

Can you tell me where you sourced the brake kit from?

Welcome to FABO!Nice project you have going on there. Will be following your progress.
If anyone has any suggestions to improve what I'm doing , I'd love to hear [quote]
My advise is for bigger tires in rear, maybe a minitub is in order.
