lucky i got it for only 1300 bucks because it needed a lot more work than i thought ....but had a lot of new parts ....power disc's ...brake lines...3/4 of a new wiring harness but still had wiring problems ...lol...came with some good extra body parts i used ...mint trunk ...a good door ...had to buy a couple fender's ...found two great one's from a real nice guy in tampa that had a ton of duster parts ...had a new edelbrock carb and a proformer intake...the guy said it had a re-man 318 with not many miles ....but when i slid it out it was a re-man with the heat plugs glued all over it but it turned out to be a 360 head cop motor......

I like how this one is coming along. Keep up the nice work.
What part of Florida are you in.

73ABODEE......does the new posts of the paint colors give you any glue to the tribute part ? .....lol...

crj1968 beat me and you to it ...lol....yes its going to be a tribute to the last pro stock duster race car they had... pro 200.. a don hardy chassis car...here's some of my story ...i built my first car when i was 15 ...it was a 1964 chevy impala ss and i painted it white and made it look like the sox and martin 409 chevy's they started drag racing with ...needless to say i was a big fan ....got to see them a lot match racing back in the late 60's and early 70's...then i got the circle track bug and went racing for almost 40 years ...won two nascar championships along the way ...( with red white and blue painted race cars )........well now i am semi-retired and was looking for a project about a year ago ...i always loved those mopars would love to have the real thing but you can't drive and enjoy the car on the street .....i already had those type cars ... my favorite S@M car was the later duster's they had so that's were i stated looking for my project... same at 15 and i am back at it again 40 plus years later ....lol....i also have a plan for the car a little down the road ....

It's really cool- can't wait to see it finished. I saw that car (maybe) and a couple other Sox cars back in 89-90 at Union Grove WI. I know he had a barracuda and Cuda there and maybe that Duster. I'll have to dig through my old pics......

Landy was there as well...Jungle Jim....all those old school guys. Ronnie was out talking with people and seemed a down to earth cool dude.

great weather today in the dungeon ....70 degrees no humidity ...laid some more white on .....doors and fenders...please do not tell anyone about my trick compressor set-up ...lol...
