Selling a 1955 D500 Super Ram Red "Poly" head engine complete with transmission.
by serial # = D553 - 1001 1955 Super Red Ram 270 2 barrel 183 hp
Restore your early Crysler with this classic combo
found at a restoration yard with many older parts for many vehicles
the infamous Sawtooth valve covers are in great condition
The carb was taped shut...
a couple of ports open on the top were open but all seems to be there
Distributor , 2 barrl carb all in tact.

attached is a Torqueflite A488 transmission The three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission was Chrysler's mainstay from its introduction in 1956
Though the first TorqueFlite was the revolutionary model # A-488, called the best automatic transmission in the world
The original TorqueFlite was designated A488, with a cast iron case, separate iron converter housing, and no parking pawl
this was found at a location where a restoration business was
