Just got my Gerst suspension K frame. This thing looks awesome. Cant wait to get it in the Cuda!!!

I dont think there is going to be a big weight difference for me. The car has a modified kframe and rack. The new unit is pretty beefy. I think a stock frame with drums would be 40 to 70 lbs. Savings.

How streetable is it? How does it compare to the RMS set-up?

He has different setups available. Mine is for drag racing. This is a well built quality kit for a reasonable price. And, Carl is always there to answer any questions you may have.

One of the better mods I had done. Mike at Comp Chassis did mine. Car drives so nice at speed, plenty of room to work on stuff. Had custom headers done and they are away from everything. Good upgrade!

Can't believe I went with the Qa1 k member. Still stuck with the torsion bars

Looks good

never understood the cap crap now QA1 if you planned on keeping the stock style suspension. just seemed like a waste of money. can't see it saving much weight either.

It saved 11lbs I checked before and after / I dropped the ball on that upgrade
It does drive better then Ever as of now but not much better then a new stock.front end , Header room
Weight. Not much change either

Got everything installed on Sunday. Saved me about 10 lbs. But my frame was already lightened and had a rack installed. I did this mostly for safety. I can actually make a turn now. I need to button a couple things up and get it aligned. Everything fit perfectly. I would recommend this setup to anyone.

It looks great. Any photos of the tires in relation to the fender openings?
