A-1 Careers is looking for a Cable Tech with car and cable tools to service commercial clients in the
Denver area. Work will be servicing key systems (Avaya / Nortel / some Toshiba) doing moves, adds,
changes. You need 3 to 5 years of experience and must be certified in Avaya and Nortel. Pay rate is $17
to $22 per hour depending on experience.

You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US."

I'm trying to get this same job. This guy called me back, said he submitted me resume today and asked if I knew anyone else who was qualified.

ramcharger - That was really a great thing to do! Not too many people would openly advertise a job opening that they're trying to get themselves. Especially in todays economy and slack job market.
Really a good indicator of the type of people here on FABO.
Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed hoping you get the call you want!
(Sure gonna make it tough on the ride home with everything crossed like that)

Good luck. I had two plants close on me in the last year which sent me looking and ended up making 40% less than I made a year ago....I still have my wonderful wife and son...my health...my house...and my Barracuda. We will all make it through it. Please "Buy American if possible" We will make it through this if we stand by our own. My two cents

LOL! Be careful driving.

They have two guys (one being me) and need two more. If someone here got the job instead of me, at least I did something good. I won't know for sure about this job till sometime next week.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I'm so glad to hear that you're surviving and you sure seem to have a great outlook. Good luck to you to and I hope that things get better on your side as well.

Even at the highest pay rate this job offers, I'd still be taking a pay cut and I don't have it yet and I've been out of work over 5 months now so I'm really, really hungry for a job.
