Today's THE DAY!!!! :-D
After five long months of working on it most every night, my new powder coating oven is being delivered this afternoon! Richard's loading it up on his trailer right now. I'll post a pic of the big beast in its new home later on.
For those who haven't heard about it yet, it's 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide and about 3 feet deep. And she looks good too (if I do say so myself LOL).
I want to thank everybody here for all the patience you've shown and the words of encouragement you've given me along the way. This has been a very long time coming, and I'm delighted to let FABO be the first to hear the news. You know why???
Because this wouldn't be happening right now without all of you.

Nice, early Christmas present Too bad you live in another country 4000 miles away or I'd send you something to coat.

You've gotta be one happy gal right now, lol. Did you have to get 440 run in or will it run on 220?

Congrats go out to you & Billy on the new oven. That's your bread and butter.... now in a larger size.
And for anyone considering having something coated and you don't send it to Leanne, ya got %$#@#$% rocks in your head. Her & Billy do some outstanding work. Go ahead and add in the cost of shipping and it's still a deal. You get peace of mind besides having a great job done.

Thanks guys!!!
As promised, here it is!

I gotta say this is one of my absolute favorite men on the planet ... the famous Richard, local plant manager, builder of big ovens, and soon to be getting a chitload of parts coated for his '65 GMC pickup ... he hates getting his picture taken but I did it anyway.

And I don't know who this flake is. He just wandered in and stood in front of the oven. j/k At 6'5, Billy (who also isn't too keen on getting his photo taken as you can tell from that smirk) gives you a good idea of scale.

Oneofmany, business has actually been realllllllly slow -- typical during the summer -- but it's given me the opportunity to bust my backside on the oven. Hopefully this will perk things up a bit around here.
Ramcharger, it runs on 220 single phase. Kinda spins the meter a bit but not any more than the big Dayton heater did. (The oven kidnapped the heater's 70 amp breaker so I'll have to kick down for another one before it starts getting cold again. LOL)
Thanks again for all the comments! I am definitely one happy powder coatin' camper right now. Ready to put that thing to WORK.

Richard looks beat, Billy looks not too thrilled but it's great to see a pic of him lol, and I imagine you look happier than a kitty in a patch of catnip.
To any and all that see this thread:
Leanna and Billy are true professionals at what they do and the finished product will blow your mind. I had a very complex part that I had them do, a Bosch alternator case from a late 80's Ramcharger and it turned out perfect! No powder in any and I mean ANY holes where it was not supposed to be, threaded or otherwise. The finish was show quality with no blemishes.
I trust no one but them to handle my powder coating needs from here on out and their selection of colors is second to none.
Leanna and Billy, I wish you both the best in the coming years and I hope I get a job soon so I can spend Mo Money at your shop, lol!
