1960 Valiant Data Plate/SN Codes

I’m attempting to find a source to decode my serial number and data plate. I believe from what I was able to learn is that it was built on June 2nd 1960 maybe. I could not find a list for the Valiant maybe because of its bastard non affiliation for 1 year. Here is my plate cleaned up.

Well I found this info but its not clear what plant it was made at. There is no code 2 for which plant made it but there was 2 Detroit locations any maybe be the first year of mfg it was made there at 2?

2: Dodge Assembly Plant, Detroit (maybe actually Hamtramck?)
207704: Serial number (first SN of cars like this was 100001, so this is the 107,703rd 1960 Valiant V-200 built at that plant)

That's all the info obtainable from the vehicle number.

Thanks. Any way to know its date of actual production? Does Chrysler still do something like that? Being this a “Valiant” from 1960 I’m looking for any details to include production numbers and mfg date. I’ll keep digging and report back.

You can get the vehicle build record from Chrysler by sending in this application with acceptable proof of ownership. That's unless your luck is bad and they don't have the record for your car, but they do have most pre-68 records.
