I purchased from the second owner it was found in Linden, New Jersey originally sold in Bayonne nj, I’m in between both approximately 10 miles either way. It was stored since 1986 and it has on the odometer it says 28,900 miles it’s a factory PHS documented 1965 GTO factory tripower four speed M20 and 355 rear. only thing I’ve changed that’s not original is the rear and I have the original rear gears were changed in the 70s to 293s now a 1967 GTO REAR 355 all the interior is original to the car nothing has been upgraded other than the armrest. They are new and the mats are new it has factory rally gauges. Everything works in the car all the glasses original all the seats are original even the carpet is original , I purchased new tires rep pop rims . the trunk I replaced two pieces of sheet metal inside, it still has ‘“I believe to be “ original exhaust. It’s four-wheel drum brakes power steering has the radiator the factory radiator that I re cored and the date codes are Engine date code January 23, 1965. Transmission date code January 21, 1965. Rear gate code January 21, 1965. I have all the PHS documentation I have the bucks tag showing the 5N for the car matching the Cowl tag. When I purchased the car it was black original color is blue mist metallic which I painted back to the original color , it was some minor bodywork done on the lower quarters prior to my purchase. It was also somebody work done on the right lower fender where you where I can show you pictures where it was brazed what looks like bronze weld also, there was bodywork done on the driver side quarter panel all the sheet metal on the car is the original sheet metal. Nothing has been replaced all original parts , the car runs amazing purchase price 70,000 or best offer.
