Hi everyone, I am looking at a 8.25 5-4.5 duster rearend my rear end is a 71/4 5-4 any options to make this swap?

Options? Like what? It's a direct bolt in swap with the possible exception of changing the length of the drive shaft. .....and of course the mismatched wheel bolt pattern.

Make sure you get the shock plates and U bolts with the 8.25 or source them elsewhere- your 7.25 has 2.5" axle tubes and the hardware won't fit the 3" tubes on the 8.25.

Then you're limited to your 7.25 or an A body (only) 8.75.

Well that part is on you my friend. You can redrill the axles and drums, or get custom axles and correct A body drums.

But if you redrill the axles, the center register will still be too large for small bolt circle wheels. You'd have to get the center registers turned down to the small size to fit the wheels, but still leave enough of the large register remaining at the flange in order to properly center the drums.
