hey guys, found myself a clean 70 dart swinger. first dodge for me besides my diesel truck. car has a good built slant 6 now. I have started tearing the car down. future plans are a mild custom and modern engine wiyh pro touring suspension. forabodiesonly has been a wealth of knowledge so far. thank you all for that. couple of pics attached of what I'm starting with.

got the interior out except for the dash. this car is clean inside. I'm happy about that. found the build sheet in the back seat and one under the carpet that wasn't salvageable. those rear side windows are a pain to get out!

As the pictures will tell this is why my wife hates when i get into projects. i really wanted one piece glass on my doors. I've been looking for doors that are late model. couldn't seem to find any. today I scored a 73 so now I have doors(not as nice as what my car came with but not rotten). the body is smoked, decent fenders and bumpers, but really nice front and back glass. the 73 is a slant 6 car. when i looked at the vin it has a c for the engine. it comes up as a special order slant six. i wore out google, this forum and slant six only and cant find what the options were. all I can tell is it has a Holley on it and that doesn't seem all that special to me. anyone have any info? I have my 70 torn down. ready to pull motor and trans and then suspension. ordered a rotisserie so i can get busy on the body in the near future but now I have another car to deal with!

Looks like a pretty clean starting point. Personally I like the vent windows and being to pull in air with them, but no worries brother. Build it how you like it! Looks like you are off to a good start!

lots of work this weekend. finally got the motor and suspension removed. pulled the front and back glass. car is completely stripped (except trunk lid). got the 73 into the shop and will start disassembling it today after work!
