I am looking for a 1970 Plymouth Duster that was called the “Draggin Duster." A good family friend, Dan, used to race the car at Mid Michigan Motorplex in the 80s and 90s.
Dan has been in the hospital for a couple weeks and I would love to find a photo to show him of it.
Car was made into a race car in the late 80s, when Dan named it. Car was originally Orange, but last known color was purple. I believe it had a 440 and 727 but don't quote me on that.
Every Duster that Dan sees at the track he always checks it over for signs of it being his old car. Last whereabouts the car was sold to Ionia MI, I believe in the early 2000s but I don’t know when exactly, I would need to find out.
I know Dan would love to see a photo of the car, or to know that someone is out having fun with it.
I am working on getting a better photo. Hoping to get a vin or license plate number but not sure at this point.
