I used to have a friend who built his own extremely high end computers, and built a new one every year.
They averaged about $3500 in parts.
About every two years, he'd sell me one...for $500.
Even at 1-2 yeras old, they were still about twice the performance of the top of the line major brands.
They also came with "tough love" tech support- all specs and docs but no coddling.
That's one of the things that got me into the IT industry.

Yeah idk but I've been lucky to find a lot of deals since I've got my Duster haha knock on wood.. don't want the deals to stop haha
