I need the inner sheet metal for my driver's side door so that I can fix this: It's a 4-door
I may have some doors off of my waggin or we need to find some donor doors that's a lot of rust to fix, 'll see what I have left or look for a parts car
Where are you located? I know where a few doors are here in Tennessee and kentucky
Other than color matching the interior paint, I agree with waggin that replacing the door is probably far more cost effective and far less labor intensive.
we need some rust eaze bumper ointment up in this joint
Then cover that with some por 15. Good as new. Lol
south of me in cocoa florida
Thanks for all of the replays! I will need more metal for the car than this. I will make another post with a list of everything I will need soon!
You'll love it when you get it driving. Found mine next to a barn, got a battery, carb, fluids and plugs and she drove right out of where she sat for 20 years. Been my daily ever since. Good luck on finding the metal
Thanks! That's actually the same thing my brother and I did. This was my aunts car; she passed away about 10 years ago. The car was sitting on my grandfather's property ever since. He passed away last year so I ended up inheriting the car. He did do some work on it before he let is sit. We did the plugs, wires, new battery, upgraded the ignition, changed the oil, trans fluid, and the brake lines and drove it home! It runs super smooth!
I have a line on a four door parts car, will find out price for it, 1 1/2 hour drive one way, save up for parts and get ready for a road trip to wagg's place
