A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

-
Well...I'm still here. Still working on the basement finish, I am probably 3/4 of the way done with the basement. Found some funds and ordered the Hughes 1.6 Roller/Rocker set up today with their hold downs. Expensive but probably worth it after all that has been spent on this engine. Big Thanks to Higgs for giving me a set of 3/8" cut to fit push rods he had but wasn't using. I'll get the basement 100% finished and then I will get back to working on my car.

Alex, I really don't understand why you had to remodel a Basement? Unless your doing it with Mopar memorabila and gonna park the Duster in it.

I wish it was for that reason...but no...it's about getting top dollar for the current house. Me being in construction for so long, and that I can finish it on my own means a good return on investment. It's almost done and I'll be back working on the car.

Few more parts arriving, the black air cleaner I chose. Can't wait to get back working on my car and engine! Saving my pennies to buy a nice set of headers next.

Hey, which NGK Iridium spark plugs should I get???

See what MRL says about the plugs. You need to finish the house so you can get back to the important stuff.

^ Cool, good point...I just emailed Mike at MRL. Yes I know, finish the freaking basement and get back to finishing the Duster!

Mike just responded, he says: Champion RC9YC

I'd go with the ones he Quoted, I put NGK on mine this year, both are great plugs

There was nothing in our basement other than the original cement foundation walls. The 3/4" OSB floor is suspend off the dirt about 3'.
