Looking good Alex. Everyone has a nightmare header story from one time or another.....

Inside/outside radiator support done. I'll let the clear dry a few days and then install the radiator/fan set-up.

I will be soldering up the relays to the fans and hooking up the 2750 controller for the fans. Thanks to goldduster318, here is his diagram how to wire up the Contour fans. I will disable the fan control on the Fitech unit and run the fans with the Dakota 2750 Controller. The 2750 controller says not to bolt it into the engine bay ...but I do not want to run all the wires into the cab. So, I ordered a little black waterproof fly fishing, fly box. I can mount the controller in it , in the engine bay and keep it clean and protected. Like this car is going to ever see the rain, lol!

Got the soldering all done from the fans to the relays. 60amp fuse all wired in. The controller will go on the passenger side where the charcoal can was, need waterproof box to arrive and I'll get after finishing dual fan set-up.
Borrowed good ole' Higgs' starter relay jumper button (steering column is out of car right now) so I could crank it over and get some oil pressure showing on my manual gauge... and put a smile on my face, hopefully. Pulled all the plugs so she could turn freely.....didn't take long: 15 lbs of pressure as it turns slowly with the tired battery.
Last bit of wiring to do and ...Gimme' some Gas!!!

Pulled dash, to add some carbon vinyl overlay to it, you have to Paint it Black first ...Is that a Rolling Stones song??? While the dash was out I by-passed the ammeter, running #6 through the firewall. Black from the Alt into the cabin hooked to the Red coming out of the cabin, back to the starter relay, correct size fusible link soldered in of course, (jumper behind dash to run power to the fuse panel and other interior juice needs).

This is Major Tom to Fan Control.... So the little waterproof Fly tackle box is the perfect fit! You have to scrape out the bottom foam piece that is glued into the box. Do not use Goof Off to remove the glue, the nice black box will get discolored like mine did. I just might have to get another one, but I like it. The red wire in the box is just a test fit, I will have to drill 6 holes in the front of the box to get the appropriate wires in.

Now THAT is awesome!!! That's true hotrodding right there!! I just might have to steal that idea when I put the contour fans in my Duster!

Looks good Alex, can you paint it body color? seen as how you got cleaner on it.

I could paint it,....but I just ordered another one. Got the Dakota Controller all programed today, tested fans.... and they come on, nifty!

Guess I haven't posted in over a month, wow. June 15th 2017 marks two years from when I bought the Duster. Great news is the 3 Musketeers (Higgs, Brock, and myself) got my 408 running last Sat. June 10th. The boys tweaked on the Mopar wiring a bit, deleted the ballast resistor and then MSD/FiTech started right up, it sounds wicked through the 3" exhaust into the Flowmasters! I'll have to post a sound clip. Fine tuning of the FiTech is needed to get the IAC numbers correct, also need to Phase the rotor, but she sounded amazingly "scary". A good running lil' 273...If someone asks me what it is!
Need to get my Z bar clutch pedal done soon. I am doing the figuring how to get this done. She should move under her own power as soon as the pedal/clutch/Z-bar is installed.

I had never welded in the lil' lower replacement piece for the drivers side 1/4 panel, so played "connect the dots" yesterday. Started blocking out the car. Keep on plugging away.

After getting the fender as straight as possible....shot a few coats of epoxy.
This fender was a mess...I am happy with how straight it is now. After the 2K and blocking it will rock!
