The 4 speed trans used bell to block braces didn't they?

Was test fitting my new O/D trans today and figured I'd try the automatic braces and they didn't even come close.

I couldn't find any used or re-pop pieces at Brewers or Passon. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something here.

Thanks,

CE

Well I read my 1967 and 1980 FSM's last night neither of them mention bell to block struts for the manual transmissions.

Of course that doesn't make me feel any better because it only mentioned them for the auto trans in the 1980 FSM and not the 1967 FSM, and my 68 auto definitely had them.

I also remember them being on my 67 slant car. But I have never worked on a stock V8 manual trans car.

As this post has had 70 plus views and no concrete answer, I am beginning to think the manual didn't use struts or braces. Guess I'll probably call Brewers or Passon and just ask them.

There were none on the 65 Dart V8 4 speed I parted out but were present on the 65 slant with a 4 speed I recently disassembled.
