Good thing you didnt sell the project! Glad to see you are working on it again. Keep the pictures coming.
 
I'm glad you were able to hold onto the car too. Good score on the engine. Looking foward to seeing more progress on this project.
 
Here is some more pictures of parts that I ordered from Springs and Things. I got new rear springs and my front end parts. I talk to them on the phone and ordered parts and with in 3 days they where here. :thumleft:

Next weekend taking a trip to visit a member, davescuda he has a grill and some other parts. I met Dave at Carlisle last year. That means that I will get to drive my wife's 2012 ram. :thumleft:
 
Just stock springs. No work on dart last weekend, changed auto Trans to standard in Dustin's bronco ll wow what a job. :wack:
 
Any progress on your Dart? I have enjoyed reading your thread so much, waiting for the next post :)
I hope the Phord didn't wear you out too much.....
 
Yes I have been working on it. There is a lot going on.... trying to keep up with youngest sons ride. I been working on the rear just got to be put together. I will get some pictures soon.

Here is some pictures of the rear. I also have some more parts clean and painted but no pictures. I did get the vert in the other bay to put back on the rotisserie so I can get those torque boxes welded in.

with all that is going on I got the torque boxes welded in. got to prime and paint. I haven't decided to undercoat the hole thing or just part of it. Sorry about the pictures I used my phone.

Well, you are not making a numbers matching restoration here(ya think?), and the purpose of the brackets are to stiffen the frame rails.
I think you accomplished that, just at the crossmember area. Should be fine.
 
After feeling like a fool I worked on this for couple days.

It is orange for the second time.....tomorrow it will be all black. LOL I think if I didn't go the convertible route I would be driving it by now. Oh well it is getting closer. Next I will get the inside cleaned up and painted.

I managed to get the undercoating sprayed. I looked at it with a light to see it I missed any spots, well the camera seamed to find some. I guess there will be touch up spots. :eek:ops:
