Hi Folks

Found a seller on Ebay that does a complete rebuild kit for 73 up Brake Booster however cost is $246 delivered to Australia. Checked Rock Auto and can buy a complete rebuilt Cardone unit for $207 delivered to Australia. WTF! why would you be bothered doing it yourself. I think this seller needs to review prices.

Looks like part of the eBay seller's price is the core charge on the diaphram, which of course will require you to ship yours back at your expense.

On the Cardone unit, I've heard you get what you pay for; for example wrong parts that were installed or DOA!

It would cost to thirds of the core charge to send my old one back

If you don't care about original, many cheaper options. ebay has a new booster/MC w/ brackets for $170. It uses the more common GM booster w/ threaded rod and adapter to Mopar rod w/ hole. Some reviews here w/ teething issues. I went much cheaper and put a 95-99 "cloud car" (Breeze, ...) booster/MC on Dart brackets. In the future, I can get all I want cheap at junkyard. Search my post.
