What stall in the dynamic? I got one with 4200 for a 727. I have not used it yet. Just curious to know how it will be on street car.

3200 he said... i made sure i told him it was 99.9999% street car. paperwork even said customer wants it tight.. can't wait to check it out.. i'm sure it will feel stock on the street..

pressure washed the engine bay today. also go the motor and trans sitting in it.. and boy are the trans-dapt mounts garbage compared to schumacher... wish i spent the extra money on schmachers.. these will work but probably won't be there a long time..

well got a few things done today.. everything but the exhaust is done under the car. not all the little **** has to be done in the engine bay.. not thrilled on how much the tti tail pipes stick out in the rear. may have to cut them back some down the road.. oh what jackass keeps saying manifolds are so much easier then headers to install.. so not true.. what a pain in the ***. i would have had the tti headers i have out in the shop on in half the time. and the exhaust would have been so much easier to install too..

wont be able to work on it again till monday. hopefully have it running monday or tuesday...

That engine bay looks great! There's nothing like an orange 340 to add some color in the engine compartment.

so i got the exhaust all mocked up.. my son is gonna help me tweak it a little more with a second set of hands then i''ll tighten everything up.. man that exhaust was a *****.. in the end it seems to fit well and clears everything.. gonna cut the turn downs off and move them in some down the road..

Summit 280/480 cam
Performer RPM intake
Proform 650 dp
Stock 340 manifolds.
2 1/2" exhaust
904 trans

lol.. the tips drive me nuts.. jamie hates them too..

burnout video al in due time.. last night i just wanted to get the car home. it was a half hour away in a friends garage. still have to get all the crap out of the dart and subaru..lol was another long day.

i forgot to post earlier.. i did cut the tips back. man did they annoy the hell out of me. no way was i able to let jamie be seen with tips so stupid looking and i sure as hell didn't want my name associated with that ugliness... was thinking about bringing them in even further but figured i wanted to make sure the exhaust fumes didn't get trapped under he car..

Those tips are much better suited for the '67-69 Darts. I have the same ones on my Dart and they end right before the bumper. The '70-72 Dart's rear end cuts back in and that's what makes them look so long.

Great thread. Really enjoyed it.

What ever happened to that 64-65 Valiant you stuffed a 440 into?
