Carpet Color Change

I have a 68 Dart GTS that had gold interior originally. Of course like most it has been converted to black. I need to purchase a new carpet in the future and was thinking of going back to a gold carpet and leaving the door panels, seats and console black. I looking for opinions on how it would look. Thanks Jeff

It would probably look pretty decent if you had gold accents through the rest of the interior.

The doors are painted gold above and below the door panels. Plus the panels below the quarter windows are gold also.

Well, there you go. It would probably work, I think it would look odd if everything was black with just a gold carpet, but that's just me.

I think it would look great Jeff. I wish I had some contrast in my interior, it's all black and pretty dark LOL

Here's a pic of a Duster with gold carpet and black doors. Not exactly like yours, but maybe will help you with a visual. The gold carpet looks great with the black dash IMO
